Fever and infections
In children, a temperature of 38 °C (100.4 °F) or higher is a fever.
Bring your child in if
- Your child is irritable or fussy, and unusually sleepy
- Your child has a rash, or their skin changes colour
- Your child is vomiting
Go to the emergency now if
Your child has fits (seizures) or is extremely drowsy
